About Us
Susana Falconi is a Miami-based fine artist and professional art restorer whose passion for art began in early childhood. One of her earliest memories is of carefully drawing a dog at just three years old. Raised in an artistic household and mentored by her father, also a painter, she spent countless hours immersed in the creative process. As a child, she would discreetly add brushstrokes to her father’s canvases—touches he never noticed, yet which reflect the beginnings of her artistic voice.
Her journey as an artist and conservator led her to New York City, where she exhibited her work and cultivated a profound interest in art restoration and decorative painting. She received formal training at institutions such as NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts Conservation Center and the renowned Evergreene Architectural Arts Studio, where she later contributed professionally. Her expertise in restoration earned her the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy “Excellence in Preservation Award” in 2009, among other accolades.
In 2017, Susana founded her own company, Susana Falconi Art Inc., to further expand her practice and serve a growing clientele seeking expert art restoration and decorative painting services. Based in Miami, the studio reflects her lifelong dedication to excellence in both artistic creation and conservation.
Over the years, Susana has presented her work in numerous international exhibitions across Ecuador, Colombia, the United States, Spain, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Switzerland, and Russia. Her artistic achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the 2013 Golden Eagle “Lyrical Fantasy” (Wildlife Category) Gold Medal in New York City, and the 2014 Grand Prize in Painting from Blick Art Materials in Miami, Florida. Since 2021, one of her paintings has been part of the permanent collection at the Queens College Museum in New York.
As a decorative painter, she has demonstrated exceptional versatility and craftsmanship, designing elegant interiors for prestigious institutions such as Tiffany & Co. and Chase Manhattan Bank, and contributing to the restoration and decoration of churches across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
In her conservation practice, Susana is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail and deep respect for historical integrity. She has restored works by masters such as Picasso, Matisse, Matta, Botero, Salazar, Brito, and English, earning the trust of private collectors and institutions alike.
