With her Art restorations we can say that she has achieved a great level of credibility among her clients, who have given her the opportunity to restore pieces of renowned artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Matta, Botero, Salazar, Brito, English among others, with great Results.
Susana Falconi is a talented artist who has dedicated herself to art since she was a little girl. Her first memory about her passion for art is having a dirty paper in her hands with the drawing of a pretty well detailed dog at the age of three. She grew up surrounded by Canvas and Paintings since her father was also a painter and her mentor, she used to "help him" with his paintings, every time he was absent from his studio, she would give a few brush strokes to her father's artworks, that he never noticed.
She traveled to New York city where she did several exhibitions and where also began her interest of the Art Restoration and the Decorative Painting, taking several Training courses at NYU, Evergreene Architectural Arts Studio with whom she works for some time and what earned her the prize Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy. "Excellence in Preservation Award 2009"among other acknowledgments.
Susana Falconi has made several Art exhibitions in different countries, including Ecuador, her country of origin, Colombia, the United States, Spain, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Switzerland, Russia among others, winning prizes as the Golden Eagle "Lyrical Fantasy" (Wildlife category), Gold Medal, NYC 2013, among others.
Since 2021, one of her works is part of the Queens College Museum's collection in New York city.
As a decorative painter, she has been able to demonstrate her versatility by creating decorations for Tiffany, Chase Manhattan Bank branches, as well as renovating and decorating several churches in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania Area.
Upcoming Projects
As an Animal Rights Activist, Susana is currently working a new collection of paintings dedicated to bring awareness to the destruction of Wildlife and their habitat.
